Plant for Treatment and Refabrication of Combustible Elements
Construction of the new power supply system and realization of the civil engineering works for the passage of electrical and instrument cables in the area between the emergency groups and the cabin at the ITREC plant in Trisaia.
The emergency power supply system at the Sogin site in Trisaia is constituted by three diesel generators connected to a network/groups commutation switchboard, called “Q-CE”. In addition to managing the network/groups commutation, thee switchboard enables energy to be distributed to the various buildings and plants on the site requiring an emergency power supply.
Specifically, the following utilities are served by the new power supply system:
- ITREC plant (existing);
- ICPF plant (preparation for future power supply);
- WMF plant (preparation for future power supply);
- NDB plant (preparation for future power supply).
All of the main equipment is installed inside a container, constructed specifically for the purpose. The containerized cabin is in turn inserted inside a metal confining structure which is particularly resistant.
